Phone info tab

1. Description

Here, information about the device (Fig.1) is indicated, which is necessary for automatically configuring hardware phones on clients' local networks. 

This setting is possible when you have a server on the local network. The location is carried out individually.

Consists of fields (Fig.1):

  1. Phone;

  2. IPv4;

  3. Vendor;

  4. Model;

  5. MAC.

1.1. Phone

It is a drop-down list from which the phone's name is selected, after which data about the manufacturer and model are pulled into the appropriate fields.

1.2. IPv4

Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) is the fourth version of the Internet Protocol (IP). Enter IPv4 addresses here.

1.3. Vendor

Manufacturer information field. After selecting a device in the Phone field, it is put down automatically.

1.4. Model

The field for information about the phone model. After selecting a device in the Phone field, it is put down automatically.

1.5. MAC

MAC address is a unique identifier. It is used with various types of equipment for computer networks.

2.1. Change the Phone/IPv4/MAC

Goal

 Change the Phone/IPv4/MAC

Preconditions

  1. Access to the Admin application;

  2. Access to the Devices section in the Admin application;

  3. Permission to edit or create in the Devices section;

  4. Having at least one Device or creating a new one.

Steps

  1. Click on the field you want to change.

  2. Make the necessary changes

  3. Click the Save button

Result

Data saved.
