Webitel: Documentation

Version 26.06

This release focuses on implementing SSO (login via Microsoft, Google, Facebook), automatic device generation upon user creation, expanded CRM functionality, and significant stability improvements to Workspace and video calls. New capabilities have been added for working with cases and custom lookups, and bugs have been fixed in Workspace, History, Supervisor, and UI components to ensure reliable platform operation.

๐Ÿงฉ

New Features

โš™๏ธ General

  • New SSO section in Admin: a separate SSO section has been added in Admin โ†’ Integrations for configuring the ability for users to log in via single sign-on: creating, editing, and managing SSO profiles. Supported providers are Microsoft, Facebook, Google, as well as Custom (for your own OpenID provider). Along with the section, the following were added: the login_options system setting for managing available login methods, a separate SSO permission object, logging of SSO profile creation, editing, and deletion actions in the Change Log, as well as a new design for SSO profile buttons and a hint with an example of the correct login format (name@domain) on the login page.

  • Automatic device creation on user creation: Added the ability to automatically generate and assign a device to a user at the same time as the user is created โ€” previously, the device had to be created as a separate step beforehand.

  • Blocking a specific subscriber number in Lists: Added the ability to block a specific subscriber number in the blocked numbers list (Admin โ†’ Lookups โ†’ Lists), instead of blocking the entire contact.

  • Password generation according to password policies: When generating a user's password, the system now takes into account the configured password policies (minimum length, character categories, prohibition of using the login in the password, regular expression).

  • Network quality in the call log: In the Workspace call log and in History, an operator can now see what the network quality was during a call.

  • Updated login flow: Authorization now happens on a single screen โ€” the user enters their login in one field, and the system immediately determines the available login method (SSO or local password).

๐Ÿ”ง Admin

  • Bulk change of Progressive call count: Added the ability to change the Progressive call count parameter for several operators at once, for all operators assigned to a predictive or progressive dialer queue.

  • Bulk forced logout of users: Added the ability to simultaneously force-log out multiple users, rather than only one at a time.

๐Ÿ“‚ CRM / Cases

  • Select and Multiselect support for CSV import: Custom lookups can now be populated by importing Select and Multiselect field values via CSV โ€” it is enough to specify the value name from the linked lookup rather than its identifier (search is case-insensitive).

  • Selecting AI voice profiles for media files: Added the ability to choose from all available AI voice profiles (for the uk-UA language) when creating a media file.

  • Selecting cases for export via checkboxes: Added the ability to export only selected cases.

๐Ÿ’ป Workspace

  • Unread message indicator in chats: An indicator (a dot) now appears in the chat panel for chats with unread messages โ€” without showing the exact count; this also covers the case where a client sent a message or a file and the chat was then closed.

  • Color-coded message sender in chat: In the chat preview in the Workspace left panel, message text is now highlighted with a color depending on the sender: yellow โ€” client, gray โ€” operator, white โ€” bot.

  • Extra chat count limit: Implemented a separate limit on the number of active chats above the standard one, allowing repeat or priority customer inquiries to be routed to the operator even if their standard chat limit has already been reached.

Improvements

๐Ÿ“‚ CRM / Cases

  • Required custom fields logic via CreateCase: Added a clear rule for handling required custom fields when creating a case through the CreateCase application โ€” a case is now created if another field from the custom block is passed, even if a required custom field is left empty.

๐Ÿ”ง Admin

  • Validation of numeric fields for the agent team: Added validation of the maximum value (32767) for numeric agent team parameters, with a corresponding error message โ€” previously the system allowed entering values that exceeded the data type limit.

  • Validation of the entered resource number: When manually entering or importing phone numbers for resources via CSV (Admin โ†’ Contact center โ†’ Resources), added validation that prevents entering characters not used in phone numbers (e.g., spaces).

  • xlsx format instead of xls for export_settings: In the export_settings parameter, the allowed value xls has been replaced with xlsx.

  • Default Change Log objects on deployment: When deploying a new domain, all default Change Log logging objects are now added automatically, without the need to configure them manually.

  • Unified sorting in the Change Log registry: Improved the inconsistent sorting of records in the Change Log โ€” previously, default domain objects were sorted by the State column, while manually added records followed different logic, causing the order to keep changing after toggling switches.

  • Correct default values for password policies: The default value of the password_warning_days parameter has been changed from 0 to 30, and password_expiry_days from 0 to 120.

๐Ÿ”— Flow

  • AI AMD result variable in Flow: Added a variable containing the AI AMD result value (similar to amd_result for regular AMD), which can be used in Flow schemas during dialer calls.

๐Ÿ’ป Workspace

  • Loader on repeated call/chat button clicks: Added a loading indicator that appears after the first click on the call or chat button and blocks repeated clicks until the request is processed โ€” this prevents multiple duplicate requests from being sent.

  • Lazy loading for the quick replies list: The quick replies list in Workspace now automatically loads additional entries while scrolling, instead of being limited to the first 10 items in the lookup.

  • General UI improvements: limited the display of the queue name in the central panel, unified the clickability and display of client and operator names in the chat left panel.

  • Unified time zone for counting evaluated calls: For the Workspace and History applications, added support for using the user's time zone (instead of UTC), which previously produced different figures for calls made at the start of the day.

๐Ÿ” Security and Authorization

  • Call permissions: improved the permission logic for viewing call history (by default, an operator sees only their own calls, while a supervisor, team administrator, and auditor see their own calls and their operators' calls).

๐Ÿ“น Video calls

  • No microphone access message: When attempting to accept a call without microphone permission, a localized error notification is now shown ("No access to the microphone. Unable to perform this action") โ€” regardless of which panel or browser notification the call is accepted from.

  • Picture-in-Picture mode for video calls: The active video call container can now be opened in Picture-in-Picture mode โ€” its position and size on the screen can be adjusted, and it stays visible above other browser tabs or applications. You can return to the call tab in Workspace with a single click.

๐Ÿ“œ History

  • AMD Result filter accounts for AI AMD results: The AMD Result filtering logic in History has been refined so that the filter also accounts for alternative AI AMD result values (e.g., cancelled instead of CANCEL), without changing the filter's visual appearance.

โš™๏ธ General

  • Call ID statistics API: Implemented an API request for retrieving statistics by call ID.

  • Simplified domain creation: The process no longer requires navigating between multiple pages.
