Form Text

1. Description

The component allows you to display any static information on the page.

Markdown formatting and variables set during a call or chat are supported.

You can set the border color to highlight the block.

It is used, for example, to create Forms — a dynamic page of the Workspace.

This component is present in flow types like:

  • Forms.

The block (Fig.1(1)) is used in space to build the Flow. The settings panel for this component opens (Fig.1(2)) when you click on the block.

1.1. Form Text block

The block consists of the following elements:

  1. The name of the component;

  2. In branch — receiving (connecting with the previous block) branch;

  3. Out branch — outgoing (connecting with the following block) branch. When hovering over the Out field, a switch appears. The switch allows this component to be connected to a component that already has a connection.

The presence of an Screenshot 2024-11-07 154742.png icon indicates that the switch is on, and this component can be connected to a component that already has a connection.

Changing the switch position removes the outgoing branch of this component.

The Screenshot 2024-11-07 155145.png button deletes the block from the Flow Schema.

1.2. Form Text settings panel

It consists of the following elements:

  1. Id;

  2. View;

  3. Break;

  4. Limit;

  5. Add description.

1.2.1. Id

Here you enter the name* (unique within the Flow) – a service name not displayed on the page. It is used as a variable for further access to values.

1.2.2. View

It is designed to customize the view.

It consists of the following fields:

  1. Text;

  2. Enable copying;

  3. Label;

1.2.2.2. Enable copying

The switch is responsible for the presence of a button for copying this text in the form - image2024-1-28_20-47-43.png  (Fig.2).

1.2.2.3. Label

The text entered in this field will be displayed as a heading before the text in the Text field.

1.2.2.4. Hint

You can enter a hint in this field. The tooltip will be displayed when you hover over the image2024-1-28_20-48-17.png  icon.

The icon will not be displayed if the field is left blank.

1.2.2.5. Color

Here you choose the border color to highlight the block.

Note

In the Flows created before the v.22.07 update, the previously chosen color is not displayed in the settings panel of the Form Text component, but the settings are saved and are displayed in dynamic pages according to the previously chosen color.

It is recommended to re-select the desired color in such Flows.

1.2.2.6. Collapsible

The switch is responsible for the ability to expand/collapse the block with text:

image2024-1-26_13-47-15.png  - the block with the text is collapsed by default, and it becomes possible to expand/collapse the block (Fig.2);

image2024-1-26_13-47-47.png  - the block with text is expanded by default (Fig.3) without the ability to collapse (Fig.4).

  • image-20250627-120816.png — the switch is in the off position.

1.2.4. Add limit

It is intended to determine the maximum number of passes through this component.

The failover branch appears in the edited component when the limit is set image2024-1-26_12-1-12.png .

The failover branch will be used if more passes are passed through the component than entered in the Max field.

Clicking on the Add Limit button adds a Max field and a Delete limit button.

The number of possible passes is indicated in the Max field.

Clicking on the Delete limit button removes the limit and returns the Add limit button.
